Deutsche Bundesbank Offices
tagebau designed a buildng for the German Central Bank, the Bundesbank in Frankfurt. The design was developed for the general contractor of the building, OFRA Generalbau and will house up to 250 new workplaces.The building is connected at its Eastern end to an existing building with ramps and stairs which will extend disabled access to this building.
The horizontally structured façade ist accentuated and animated by the contrast of the solar protection, glazed panels and elements in the staircases.
Construction started in early 2010. The building was handed over in autumn 2010.
