in autumn 2007 tagebau were commissioned by gp schuppertbau, a general contractor in halle / saale to develop the detail design, the construction information including specifications and bills of quantities for 7 appartement buildings with underground car parking and the landscaping in potsdam. the just under 100 appartements were designed to the so-called kfw-60 energy standard, i.e. 30% better than the current german energy standard.
