in 2001 we were invited by the city of leipzig to find an urbanist solution to the square otto-runki-platz in the delapidated eastern part of the city. in collaboration with maix mayer (film and art) and prof. ingo-andreas wolf (urbanist) a concept was developed that was presented both as a film and an architectural design at a national symposium "lebendige stadt". the collaboration with maix mayer has since then been continued and provided important conceptual input on a number of projects.
