In 2001 we were invited by the city of Leipzig to find an urbanist solution to the square Otto-Runki-Platz in the delapidated eastern part of the city. In collaboration with Maix Mayer (film and art) and Prof. Ingo-Andreas Wolf (urbanist) a concept was developed that was presented both as a film and an architectural design at a national symposium "Lebendige Stadt". The collaboration with Maix Mayer has since then been continued and provided important conceptual input on a number of projects.
