Construction started, Haus Jung

In march construction startet for a family home near Leipzig. tagebau architekten + designer are utilising their wealth of experience in the use of broken foam glass wich acts as thermal isolation and ground slab while stopping capillary action from below. Expensive reinforced concrete slabs can such be replaced. Increasing rc standards as well as rising material costs have recently lead to significant cost increases for rc elements and increased the savings potential in the use of foam glass gravel.
