on 14 december 2007 the symbolic first dig was carried out for the new land registry offices in korbach. the managing director for the hessische immobilienmanagement, bernd zahn gave the project "top marks for the architecture". the building is to be handed over on 15 december 2008. the contractor ofra holding and tagebau are aiming higher, though and are planning for an earlier hand over to show the full benefits of the innovative ofra building method.
