tagebau architekten + designer are a dedicated team of about 10 architects and engineers, who enjoy the development of projects of varying scale and complexity.
we are driven by the conviction that the integration of the historic, social and cultural context of the project and its site form the valid basis for the design of a project.
this approach is applied with equal rigour to the development of power line masts for tram systems, an old people's home and our contributions to a euro 1 billion shopping centre.
apart from our own projects we contribute to projects of other offices and act as consultants on a range of specialist subjects for internationally renowned architects such as ian ritchie architects and von gerkan marg and partner. we advise international clients and help artists to realise their projects.
the following selection shows a range of national and international projects which, since the establishment of tagebau architekten + designer in 1996, were designed and realised, or are currently being developed. we hope that they give an impression of our approach and capabilities.
