as part of the collaboration with ian ritchie architects on the whitecity project, tagebau architekten + designer designed an innovative retail interior for one of the first anchor store tenants.
20 m high "internal shop windows" provide the focus of the four levels of the shop. they form the sides of the central escalator void - thus letting the customer travel towards and through the glass shelves. the lighting of the wall will be adjustable to allow seasonal or daytime dependant changes in the atmosphere of the shop.
